Born in Canada, raised in Australia, a British resident who's bounced between LA and London for half his life and traveled the world, my eclectic existence can be seen in the multi-layered life I've lived! Trained as a cinematographer, with a BA in Film, creatively I've worked in music videos and film shorts, commercials and TV pilots, theatre and beyond. My experiences, expressed though my hopefully-soon-to-be-realized film and television long-form projects combine the humor, the darkness and light of living in our inner and outer worlds. I'm author of "The Spiritual Slob" - the world's mouthiest, most irreverent and truly helpful "self help book" - soon to find its way filmically on the worldwide web. I've just finished a month's run of my self-penned screenplay-turned-stage-play-soon-to-be-film darkly comic thriller "Flycatcher" - for which I am still paying. And so the flip side of all this glamour is the reality of being a dedicated artist (for me, at least, currently) - working at the Tate Modern in the kitchen and bar, shlepping and helping out to keep my head above water (not really, my rent is due, my electricity has been shut off and there is no wi fi), thus completing the eclectic picture of my life. Glamour to Gritty Reality and Back Again (one hopes). My experiences of life inform everything I do, and so here I am, in all my gritty, glamorous griminess!
