Biography

Rachel Hoiles Farrell is a writer in Georgia. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan, where she was the recipient of multiple awards in fiction and nonfiction. Her work has been published in various magazines and humor sites, including McSweeney's, Jezebel, Slackjaw, Ninth Letter, Pank, and Virginia Quarterly Review. She recently finished a feature-length screenplay, AGE OF CONSENT, and is represented by Varun Monga of Equitable MGMT and Jeff Portnoy of Bellevue Productions. She is interested in southern storytelling with a special focus on culture, class, race, rural settings, the environment, and small-town industry.
