Biography

For me, making films is a way to transform memories into solid state. Making films is more than simply remembering, it is an attitude against the sense of lost, against forgetting. We (filmmakers) do not capture our memories as photographer do, do not try to re-create memories as painters do. We rewrite memories; we rewrite memories much as a love letter is rewritten... But first of all, we have to fall in love.
