Christian Grüner, born in 1979, held the first camera in his hands at the age of 13 to perform a music video from AC/DC. He kept the passion for music alive as he played in a band for the next few years. Before deciding to move on to film, Christian Grüner published his own magazine at the age of 20. After one year, he realized that he wanted to combine all these different art forms in the future and so it happened in 2002 that he started with the production of his first sport film, which was premiered, awarded and distributed worldwide two years later. Under the pseudonym, Pikestaff Studios, he worked from that point on as a director, camera operator, editor and designer and was distinguished internationally for his work on several occasions. Within just 4 years, he created 5 other films as both the cinematographer and editor, as well as some commercials for internationally based companies. For the future, Christian Grüner will focus on his role as a director to create and realize innovative TV commercials and motion pictures.
