Biography Based in the North East of England, I am part of a growing creative arts resource in the film and gaming industries I also have strong links with the film making community in York. I am the location sound specialist and supervising sound editor for the York based production company Kettle Black Films, which has just completed the post-production phase of the Screen Yorkshire Funded ‘Netty Carlisle and Iron Hands’. I have recently provided the location sound and am currently in post-production for the feature ‘Ex Cathedra’ by Firefly Productions.
Filmaking has been my passion since childhood, there is nothing quite as satisfying as creative production in all its forms, and filmaking is one big buzz. It will remain central in my future plans, irrespective of the direction the need to earn a living takes me.
I have committed myself since graduating (BA Hons in Film & TV Production) from York St John in 2005 to establishing a one stop shop for location sound and post production sound based in Northern England.
