Biography Peter Marshall Smith is a freelance writer, director and editor based in Long Beach. He has wrote, directed and edited 10 episodes of THE UNDERGROUND for channel LA36, as well as multiple award winning short films, including "Here It Comes", which screened at the Sundance Film Festival and was shown on MTV. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television, Peter co-founded an independent production company, Lasrever, to produce narrative and commercial content. Lasrever's clients have included DIRECTV, Lincoln, Nissan, Sports Illustrated, ACLU, Play-Station, and others. As an editor for four years at TBWA\Chiat\Day, Peter's clients included Southwest, Nissan, Sony, Infiniti, Grammy's, Pepsi, Visa Olympics and Bare Escentuals. Peter edited the supertease and online promo content for GT Academy USA, a reality television show wherein video gamers competed for a chance to become a real race car driver. The show won a Gold Lion for Branded Entertainment at Cannes 2012 and a Gold Pencil at the 2012 One Show. Peter lives in Long Beach with his wife.
